interface - Every control on screen has a key, and you can run every command by typing words.
Volume mode holds the first digit you type, so 33 means 33%, not 3% on the way there. Seek mode works the same way, in percent of the track. Left and Right scrub the deck you used last, 5% of its length at a time. Tab cycles the active deck and names it for 800 milliseconds. That is enough time to see where you are.
Ctrl+p opens the palette wherever you are. It lists every command in the top bar and narrows as you type. The mute, play, cue, volume and seek entries open sticky boxes, one per deck, so the next number key acts and the window stays. Escape steps back inside them, then out. The eq entries open the active deck's band at its live gain. Arrow keys move the gain a decibel at a time, 12 decibels either way.
The REPL takes lines like P1 vol 30, find aphex and P1 play. Paste as many as you like. They run in order until the first failure. Tab completes verbs and deck names. Ctrl with the arrows recalls past submits.
Scripts can send the same lines through collier-cli while the window runs. Backquote swaps the track list for the console. The console shows the running log: lookups, waveform reads, mpd exchanges and analysis, 4096 lines, coloured by level. The same lines land in collier.log.
The file ~/.config/collier/config.kdl is KDL v2 text, and each directive sets one area:
collier ignores a malformed or out-of-range directive, names it in the error colour and applies the rest of the file. The window always starts.
