NAME

colatch - One track in, a whole playlist out, everything on it alike.

OVERVIEW

Modes

seed, nonseed (the default) and albums. Only the grouping differs

Anchor

a track by name, or whatever mpd reports as playing right now

Output

an m3u file of paths that mpd knows

Footprint

the database is never written and the audio is never read

Three modes

kundali scores every candidate the same way: same models, same weights, same tempo window. Only the grouping differs:

• seed starts with the anchor, then lists its nearest
• nonseed, the default, lists neighbours only, with the anchor excluded
• albums takes the best one track per album in rank order. A track with no album stands alone

Anchor on what is playing

--current anchors on the track mpd is playing right now, so the playlist starts from whatever is on at this moment. When you name a track, it matches any piece of Artist - Title. An exact match beats a longer one that contains it.

The m3u is a plain file that any player with playlist support can read. When the playlist should play at a club, the USB export writes it to a stick.
