decks - Up to 16 decks, a spectral waveform each, and a Beat Sync press that says what it did.
Each deck draws its track colour-coded by frequency, and you can configure the palette so the colours stay yours. Scroll to zoom toward the pointer, shift-scroll to pan. Zooming re-uses the analysed columns instead of measuring again. Cue points and beat grids draw on top.
One press matches tempo when a power-of-two reading of it fits the deck's pitch range. It matches phase when both decks have a measured grid. When both carry a downbeat, the start lands on a bar boundary, so phrase starts align.
grid switches the beat grid on. A confident detection can learn the downbeat from the audio itself. Type set1 to mark it by hand. The finished scan carries the detector's confidence, shown from grid 0% to grid 100%. grid bpm only means collier knows the spacing but found no usable beat positions.
collier measures a loaded deck with no stored tempo in the background, once per session and not on every load. When the tempo lands, the deck and the library record both gain it.
Each deck embeds libpd and runs a Pure Data patch in its own signal path. The parameter and wet controls belong to the deck, not the track, so they meet the next track loaded there. Settings last one session and start off, so an effect from yesterday never joins the set loaded today.
rec records what the room hears from the decks, cued decks included, taken before the master level. Preview voices are never recorded. If the disk falls behind, the newest samples leave the file. The audio in the room never does. Stop the recording, and collier says how many samples it lost. collier reports a refused write at once, marks the file partial, and the set goes on.
